Water Law
The experience gained through water dealings via our former Balranald, Moulamein and Tooleybuc offices enables us to provide advice and act on your behalf on a range of water law issues, in particular in relation to the Water Management Act 2000 (NSW), which came into effect on 1 July 2004. This Act has revolutionised the management of water rights in NSW and will influence changes taking place in Victorian water law.
We can assist with fast-tracking the issue of Water Access Licence Certificates and the issue of new Licences, the purchase and sale of Water Access Licences, the permanent assignment of share components in Water Access Licences, the assignments of annual water allocations, subdivisions, consolidations and changes to Water Access Licences and all necessary dealings with State Government Departments and the Land Titles Office.
