This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with conveyancing experience to join our property team as a paralegal.

We are a long-standing and highly regarded law firm in the Albury Wodonga region that is seeking to expand its property team. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to manage the majority of our firm’s conveyancing. The successful applicant will be part of a small team dedicated to delivering a high standard of legal work for its property law clients.

• Experienced in a conveyancing environment
• Competent in document production with a fast typing speed
• Capable of implementing processes and systems within your work environment

• Capable of demonstrating strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Comply with all Belbridge Hague policies and procedures at all times
• Deal effectively with clients and third parties both verbally and in writing to provide information and updates in relation to conveyancing
• Maintain current and accurate records of all tasks completed as directed by our firm’s procedures, for the benefit of clients and other staff members
• Timely and accurate preparation of contract documents and other forms
• Carry out contract exchanges in a timely manner
• Prepare accurate and timely invoices and settlement statements
• Calculate settlement adjustments accurately and in a timely manner
• Comply with current trust account regulations including the keeping of accurate records
• Undertake settlement procedures
• Promote and develop Belbridge Hague Law as a brand within the local community
• Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing and any changes to property law, for the benefit of clients and the firm
• Attend and contribute to meetings with your own team and with other staff members
• Undertake other administrative duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
• Operate electronic conveyancing workspaces on PEXA
